The Midlands Engine Investment Fund provides finance to small and medium-sized businesses in the Midlands, including small business loans from £25,000 to £150,000. It's designed for start-ups and SMEs that struggle to access traditional finance, covering working capital, expansion, premises and asset purchases. The fund is backed by the British Business Bank and the European Regional Development Fund.
