Life Sciences Innovative Manufacturing Fund (LSIMF)
The Life Sciences Innovative Manufacturing Fund provides capital grants of 10-20% of project costs for UK businesses investing in life sciences manufacturing, including human medicines, medical diagnostics, and MedTech products. It is open to UK-registered, wholly private sector companies that are product developers, contract development manufacturing organisations, or generics manufacturers. Projects must have a total cost of at least £8 million and be primarily capital investments.
Great British Energy (GBE) Supply Chain Fund: Offshore Wind and Networks
This fund offers up to £300 million in capital grants to UK companies wanting to build or expand manufacturing facilities for offshore wind and electricity network components. It targets businesses producing critical parts like cables, turbine blades, monopiles, and transformers where supply chain bottlenecks are slowing down renewable energy projects. If your project needs grant funding to proceed and will produce eligible components in the UK, you can apply through four rounds until December 2026.
British Business Bank Life Sciences Investment Programme
The Life Sciences Investment Programme provides £200m through British Patient Capital as cornerstone commitments to later-stage venture growth funds focused on the UK life sciences sector. The programme aims to attract at least £400m in additional private investment alongside it. It is aimed at fund managers running large life sciences-focused funds, not directly at individual businesses.
Zero Emission Vessels and Infrastructure Round Two: Electric Power
UK businesses can apply for a share of up to £150 million to develop, deploy and operate innovative clean maritime solutions over three years in real-world environments. This is a collaborative grant funded by the Department for Transport, aimed at accelerating zero emission electric power in the maritime sector. You must be a UK registered business and work with at least one other UK registered organisation.
