Heat Network Efficiency Scheme (HNES)

Summary

HNES provides grants to organisations that operate or manage district or communal heating networks in England and Wales that are underperforming. You can apply for revenue grants (up to 100% of costs) to fund studies identifying the causes of poor performance, or capital grants (up to 50% of costs) to fund physical improvements. It's open to public, private, and third sector organisations including charities and community interest companies.
