If your business moves into a retail unit that has been empty for at least 12 months, you could get a 50% discount on your business rates for up to two years. The scheme applies to premises previously used (or suitable) for retail purposes in Northern Ireland, and is open to any business ratepayer who moved in on or after 1 April 2024.
