The Apprenticeship Levy Fund helps UK employers of all sizes invest in apprenticeship training. Large employers with a payroll over £3 million pay into the levy and can reclaim funds for training, while SMEs that don't pay the levy can access government co-investment covering 95% of training costs. In the West Midlands, the WMCA also operates a Levy Transfer Fund to help smaller businesses access unused levy funds from larger employers.
